Shofwan Karim is a civil servant in Indonesia. His interest in the organization and international understanding is high, so he received multiple invitations to visit the United States for various programs. AAA-WS is one of his motivations to gather alumni of the U.S. programs who reside or have an association with West Sumatera, particularly the Minangkabau people. His colleague who also contributes to the creation of AAA-WS is Romeo Rissal and Budi Kurniawan.
